LET’S CLEAR THINGS UP

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Am I buying the SAFE exam?+

You are choosing prelicensing education. The official SAFE MLO test is registered and paid for separately through NMLS. A course purchase does not book the test.

Why might my plan include more than 20 hours?+

A state may require its own law course or a higher total. Our plan starts with a general 20-hour national course and adds the required state coursework and any additional general hours. We show the legal minimum separately from this course bundle.

Do I need a separate state exam?+

State-specific education is coursework, not an additional state SAFE exam. Confirm any other licensing conditions with your selected regulator; education and passing the national test are only parts of the licensing process.

Can I enroll today?+

Enrollment is opening soon. You can explore your requirements and build an education plan now. Payment is available only for approved, active courses with an open cohort.

When does my course begin and end?+

Each cohort has a specific start date and completion deadline, shown before checkout. Registration closes 25 hours before the cohort starts. Choose dates that leave enough time to finish all required activities.

Can I use education I have already completed?+

Use the state-only pathway to explore additional requirements. Before purchasing, confirm your existing education record, course eligibility, and any education-expiration rules with NMLS and your regulator.
